Beautiful experience I’ve gained at Earth.org through writing on topics that really matter. I have always been concerned with environmental issues, and what’s really important in these topics is being able to look at things clearly and without a bias. The only way I know to do it is through data. So that’s what I did:

• Communicated with the great editor-in-chief and data lead for intent and clarity
• Cleaned and normalized data to ensure the further analysis doesn’t start at the wrong end
• Visualized trends so non-technical people could understand topics easily
• Built predictive models (ML) to forecast future trends
• Wrote clear and engaging articles to spread a word about real-life problems
